I and my fellow installers like to make a very good point that after that two years your monitoring rate does increase $10. But it is still less than a comparable system with ADT. And if you've read the fine print on the ADT contract, after that three year mark, unless they manage to come out, add something and convince you to sign another 3 year contract. which I had to do countless times as their installer. , they can increase your price as they please, unless you contact them within a 30 day period of the increase. Also stated in your contract however is you do have the chance to end your contract if they ever increase the price immediately. I almost bought them when I called to get my cable setup. After reading reviews throughout the internet I ended up going with someone else but am a little bummed I didn't try them out after seeing what my brother got for them.

After seeing a Comcast offer which sounded great because I would pay just one bill, I had the system installed and paid a bit over $500 for additional sensors. Within a week the app did not work and I thought the problem was with my phone. 2 weeks later I receive a call from Comcast saying something was wrong with the system and to make a long story short after over 20 hours on the phone and 3 installations attempts, my account monitoring was cancelled for no apparent reason. I filed a complaint with the Florida division of agriculture and consumer, affairs and requested my initial investment to be reimbursed. Comcast has the worse customer service around, I will sign up with a different company I found on your review site and instead of being on the phone I will spend this time drafting legal documents for the complaints litigation that I will initiate against the company. I paid for and have been depending on an alarm system from COMCAST for six months. My bad, but for the first time since installation I decided to test it today, walked in and tripped the door and motion detector, let it go into alarm and went and waited for the call. and waited,. and waited. NO CALL from monitoring. I called Comcast, was told a bunch of lies about an alarm not being allowed to ring long enough etc.
